Isopods

Isopods are currently only available within Arizona. 

We provide a Live Arrival Guarantee for isopods shipped via one- or two-day delivery. If all isopods are dead upon arrival, please contact us immediately with video of unboxing.

Shipment may be withheld during periods of extreme weather when isopods are not likely to survive; we will contact you with an alternate delivery window to ensure safe delivery. We cannot guarantee isopod survival once they are in your care. Please review care requirements before purchase to ensure the species is a good fit for your household.

The stress of the journey can cause a few fatalities during shipment or in the days following arrival, which is why sellers usually throw in a few extra. Our ten-counts will contain at least twelve isopods. They will be a mix of sizes/ages a bit heavy on juveniles. Juveniles typically survive the journey better than grown adults, and the age mix ensures a healthy start to your culture.

Plants

Plants cannot ship to CA, FL, or HI, or US territories. All plants will be shipped bare-root since soils can be a vector to spread pests and disease. Packaging will include cold or heat packs according to weather conditions at the point of shipment and delivery. Shipment may be withheld during periods of extreme weather when plants are not likely to survive delivery; we will contact you with an alternate delivery window to ensure safe delivery.

We cannot guarantee plant survival once it is in your care. Please ensure the species requirements are a fit for your environment and review care instructions before purchase.

Minerals

Many types of minerals have crumbly matrix or loose bits that may dislodge in shipment; a small amount of debris is normal, but absolutely reach out for assistance if there are any significant cracks*, abrasions, or bruises affecting the appearance of your specimen.

Minerals will be shipped well-padded to arrive intact with my patented* Not Today Satan** packing technique. Breaks should not occur in transit, but if your package arrives looking like the delivery team drop-kicked it onto your porch please take pictures and contact us immediately.

*Note that minerals typically have pre-existing natural breaks and fractures. If you are unsure, please check original images to ensure damage is new.
