These quartz points are from HuangGangLiang, and commonly called Mongolian or Inner Mongolian quartz. This isn't your typically glittery quartz crystal; the points are all opaque or close to it. They have light off-tan coloration; the slightly green or gray tint to the pieces is likely caused by low concentrations of hedenbergite.

Point A has lightly marbleized coloration from its inclusions, and is crossed with thin black and white lines. The white is a small amount of calcite, which will fluoresce under 365nm UV light. Looking closely, the dark lines are composed of spheres that have a dark olive green tint and almost metallic luster with radial growth.

On the back side of points B and D, there is a bumpy crust which may also be calcite as it reacts to 365nm UV light. On the front, an intriguing tentacle imprint pattern is indented into the surface. These are the impressions of other spherical crystals that have largely disintegrated; if you look closely under magnification you may see remnants of an orange-brown mineral (unknown) with high luster in the indentations. I’ll admit even with magnification my eyes aren’t good enough to tell what it is—email me if you know about this material, I’d love to learn more!

Point C has the ugly duckling discount because it is quite thin and both ends are broken. The back side is a mess, but on the front is a lovely pattern of rows of small parallel triangular quartz faces from sprouting growth. These faces glitter compared on the otherwise dull luster.

The background model in the first image is a Silver squill, ledebouria socialis var. violacea.
