Microcline is a type of feldspar forming sculptural blocky, tabular crystals which can display parallel growth and twinning. This piece has large, well-formed crystals. It is opaque and near-white with a pearlescent sheen. 

Smoky quartz commonly accompanies this material, providing a dramatic contrast. The specimen is dotted with small smoky crystals, the largest point measuring about 1.5cm.

UV reactivity Under 365nm UV light, the microcline shows milky cream to red color; blue speckles throughout.
